This week went by so fast and so slow all at the same time.
Tuesday and Wednesday we went on exchanges with the Altadena hermanas, Sister Moline and Sister Magness! I was with Sister Moline and she is probably the funniest person alive. We had a goooood time! It was so much fun.
We were able to go on a little road trip to Talladega so she could teach one of their investigators in spanish. It was super funny because there were 3 english sisters and 1 spanish sister there so the 3 of us just awkwardly sat there while Sister Moline taught her by herself. She did a great job!
We went to visit a less active, Patty. Her son answers the door and we walk in and Patty is getting a tattoo at her kitchen table. Hahahaha so we did something I never thought I would do which is teach somebody a lesson while they’re getting a tattoo! Good times.
Wednesday was the worldwide missionary broadcast! Man, that was a spiritual feast! We’ve been adjusting to the changes in schedule and key indicators and it’s been going well!
This week we were able to spend time in the small towns in our area like cute Cropwell and Margaret, Alabama! It was so much fun! I’m in heaven there.
Friday night we "heart attacked" our investigators Q, James, and La’Miracle. We went back and had a lesson with them on Saturday and they had framed the hearts and hung them on their wall and my heart just melted!! Goodness I love them so much. My heart melted again when Q said the closing prayer and prayed for us by name. That’s a big deal. LOVE THEM!!!
Yesterday we went and visited and older lady in the ward named Sister Rice. She is the sweetest thing! While we were there the spirit was just like "you NEED to ask to play her piano." So I did and I played a couple hymns and the spirit was so, so strong. She started to cry and told us that was her late husband’s piano and that people used to play it all the time and nobody does anymore. Music has such power! It is such an amazing gift.
Have a blessed week!
All my love,
Beautiful Logan Martin Lake in Cropwell, Alabama!
