Never been happier

Hey y’all!

Wow! I truly have never been happier! So many good things happened this week!

On Wednesday we had zone conference! It was all focused on working with members and I learned soooooo much!! Sister Conteh and I gave a training and we are always grateful for lots of input! At the end we had a sisters breakout session with Sister Sainsbury and it was tons of fun!

After zone conference we went on exchanges with the Oxford hermanas! I was with cute Sister Frazer! She is from Montana and we were driving through the woods to get to a dinner appointment and she kept saying how she felt like she was home again, it was so cute. I had fun and learned a lot from her!

ok so coolest story ever. Remember Jeffery from last week who just showed up to church on his own? We’ve seen him 3 times this week and he is the definition of elect! He told us why he showed up to church that week. He works for a tree service and a couple weeks ago a tree fell near the church and he was helping clean it up. While he was near our church he said he felt a strong sense of peace and belonging and he knew he needed to come to our church! So the following Sunday he came and he has been so happy ever since. He already knows all of it is true and has a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon! He is so incredible!

Valerie is also progressing really well! She discovered how to listen to the Book of Mormon on her phone and now listens to it all the time!

And today we went to the Birmingham Zoo with our zone!! It was a blast! It was rainy so we had the whole place to ourselves! Blessed with the best zone in the best city!

Easter is in a little over a month! President Sainsbury said something in zone conference that really really struck me. We prepare for Christmas, the birth of Christ, months in advance. But Easter, which is just as important, we don’t really prepare for. I invite all of you to do something in the upcoming weeks to prepare for Easter! It can be anything, share Easter thoughts on social media, read scriptures about the atonement, anything! And let me know what you do! This is a glorious time of year! What a reason to celebrate. Here’s what I want to share this week:

Have a blessed week!
All my love,
Sister Oscarson
